We are proud to introduce our 2026 School Leaders, a group of dedicated, responsible and enthusiastic students who are committed to making a positive difference in our school community.
Our School Leaders were selected for their strong character, leadership potential, and willingness to serve others. They consistently demonstrate our school values through their actions, show initiative in their learning, and lead by example both in and out of the classroom.
Throughout the year, our 2026 School Leaders will take on important responsibilities, including representing the school at official events, supporting whole-school initiatives, mentoring younger students, contributing to assemblies, and working alongside staff to enhance student voice.
We congratulate our 2026 School Leaders and look forward to seeing the positive impact they will make as they help shape another outstanding year at our school.
Children in Grades 3 to 6 are involved in the Student Representative Council. They are encouraged to express their views and make decisions on various aspects of school facilities and happenings. Through their involvement they learn about democratic processes and also increase their responsibility towards other children and the school.
Student Representative Council goals and responsibilities include:
The Junior School Council (JSC) is an important part of our student leadership structure at Craigieburn Primary School, providing students with a meaningful voice in school life. Through the JSC, students are empowered to share their ideas, represent their peers and contribute to positive change within our school community.
Students from Foundation to Year 6 were invited to nominate as JSC representatives and were elected through a student voting process. This authentic approach supports students in developing an understanding of democratic processes, leadership and responsibility.
The JSC will meet each term, facilitated by teachers, to discuss aspects of school life that are important to students and explore opportunities for improvement and action.
2026 JSC Representatives:
Through their involvement in the JSC, students will develop leadership skills, build confidence in expressing their ideas and work collaboratively to make a positive impact on our school.
