Craigieburn Primary School is committed to providing every student with the opportunity to achieve their personal best across all areas of the curriculum, within a caring and supportive environment.
The Victorian Curriculum forms the core of our teaching and learning programs. Year-level teams work collaboratively to ensure the curriculum is delivered effectively and consistently across the school.
A strong focus is placed on developing students' skills across all curriculum areas including English, Mathematics, Humanities, Arts, Science and Technologies. We further develop students’ personal and social, ethical and intercultural capabilities. Students enjoy a wide range of specialist subjects, including STEM, Visual Arts, AUSLAN, Performing Arts, Physical Education and Library.
The school has a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program which allows students to bring their personal laptop to school for educational purposes. All learning spaces are equipped with additional laptops to support teaching and learning of all students.
Our support programs currently include Integration, SEL Social and emotional Learning, and targeted Literacy and Numeracy support.
Mathletics, Mathseeds, and Reading Eggs
These engaging, web-based programs are part of our school’s subscription resources.
They’re designed to enhance student learning in a fun and interactive way.
We encourage students to continue using these programs at home as well. Classroom teachers will provide students with their individual usernames and passwords.
