We are pleased to announce that our Community Hub has officially opened.
Our Community Hub will be a place to welcome new and existing families from diverse backgrounds and build connections between families and with the school. It will also be a place where we can connect families from our culturally and linguistically diverse community to important local services in our area.
This term, we are partnering with Foundation House to run a series of support sessions assisting English as an Additional Language (EAL) families develop parenting strategies. The sessions are aimed at our Punjabi and Arabic speaking families and will empower parents with parenting tools, including gaining a deeper understanding of your children, managing difficult child behaviour and fostering resilience.
On Wednesday 18 October, we invite you to a session where we will formally welcome you to our Community Hub. You will be greeted by members of our leadership team and our Multicultural Educational Aides. We will welcome you to our Community Hub and will introduce the topics of the sessions we intend to run this Term. We will also have a member of our Administration team present who will guide you in how to use Compass.
We are very much looking forward to meeting you all and having you participate in our journey together.
